Play Ball!

 Carly is always first to jump on going to Angels games with her Dad.  They took a photo of them for some Angel fan page.

 She always gets a ball...who wouldn't give her a ball over the boys?

 I just thought I would include some forgotten T-ball photos I found.

 Can you tell me why you need to do the proper catcher stance when the hitter is hitting off a T?  Brody has been to one too many games because he was acting like a real catcher.  He would even take off his helmet every time they threw the ball home.  It took so much time for his coach to help him put back on the helmet, but it entertained the sidelines and me so we never told him to stop.

 My favorite was his cocky catcher walk...He does this a lot.

Girls Camp

Our stake has their own camp in Big Bear.  I think it is like the Ritz Carlton compared to when I was in YW...but Taylor does not want to hear about that. 

 This is the inside of the A-frame.  They just have flaps for the doors so Taylor was a little freaked out about critters coming in through the flaps.  She thought she was sooo smart by piling up all the luggage in front of the flaps at night to keep out the critters.  I am sure that will stop them...she slept better anyway.

I got to go up to camp for 2 days.  I always would choose hanging out with her, but I tried to let her have some freedom at camp with her friends.  It was really nice when she would give me a tap on the bum as she walked by or would just stand to be around me...I love you too.

 Speaking of bum taps...This is what she did when I asked her to take a picture with her mom...I love you too.

Waffle S'mores

I  tried this fun new idea at a camp out and it was a must share for summer.  I tried waffle cones and bowls.   The waffle bowls worked best.

Mini marshmallows

choc chips...I branched out and got peanut butter and white choc and semi sweet

strawberries

waffle bowls

aluminum foil

Pretty basic...put on grill or on hot coals in fire for only 5 minutes.

Camping

Doesn't it look like we are camping in Yosemite or the Redwoods?

I would never endure the 4th of July camping crowds.  I added artificial grass for a real natural feel.

We even had animals from the forest...CinnaMAN.

 She woke everyone up by scratching on the tent...plus the motorcycles going by did not help.

Summer

Why is my summer busier than any other season?  Finally found time for our first trip to the beach.
