How excited is Mom that she doesn't have to take a trip to Sea World because we saw 2 dolphins and a seal in one day?...I can't put a number on it!!!

Don't cross the line

I am sure everyone can guess what side of the sink is mine and which one is Scott's. We have this unspoken rule that I am not allowed to cross the line. I cross the line in many aspects of my life but this one I try really hard not to cross. I keep telling him not to cross the line with his OCD.

conjoined banana?

People always ask me how Scott and I got a blonde boy. Instead of being annoying and give a lesson on recessive genes...I just say... I don't know it just happened.

Soooo, when my kids ask me how did these bananas get conjoined. I just say...I don't know it just happens sometimes. Maybe I should have been a better mother and given them more of a scientific answer.

pre-teen

I have found it quite easy to blog about Brody, Carly and Sydney...but rather difficult to blog about Taylor. Maybe because Brody does not put any restrictions on what I can and can't say about him. I will respect the pre-teen embarrassment issues and not cause scars. I too hated my mom talking about me with her friends...let alone the blog world. I probably wrote the best blog post EVER about her but was forbidden to post. I told her one day she would laugh at herself but I guess that day is far off. Along with the pre-teen woes I have also had some pre-teen joys. I love the new responsibilities and freedoms she is earning. Why? because it gives me some well deserved freedom. It is so nice to leave a few kids home with her so I can run some errands and not look like the Octuplet mom. This is an amazing freedom to have a live-in babysitter. She is taking her job seriously. She got CPR certified and even got a babysitter bag. I have heard from other mothers too that she does a good job and even cleans the house. I told her that mothers love a babysitter that cleans. This babysitter gig may have cost me a couple of new shirts for her...but it is not that big of a price for my newly found sanity and peace. I am now off to run some errands or workout all alone. Maybe, I will just stop and smell the roses because now I can. Thanks Taylor for growing up into a responsible girl.

Oh...and she is my lifeguard... but not certified. I told her she sure dresses the part.

Paris Hilton is Baptized?

OK...not the real Paris Hilton but Carly thought she was a celebrity on her baptism day. She even had a run in with the Law as her door side swiped and scratched all 3 panels down a truck. She was at 7-11 getting a free Slurpee that will probably be the most expensive Slurpee ever. I told her not to worry because all your sins will be washed away in a few hours so today was the perfect day for this to happen.

Taylor made her have a photo shoot in her baptism dress and even did some editing.

Can't be seen in the same dress twice. I think her tote bag would get her in the worst dress list if she was trying to match her dress.

Made everyone wait for her because she had to go the bathroom before her debut. So everyone just stared awkwardly at Scott.

So happy that so many of her fans came to share in her special day that she has been waiting for 8 years. She felt so loved. My sister kept asking me if all these people were here for Carly.

No man no matter how famous can ever replace her Dad.



I am sure you would like to thank your family for all their hard work in getting you to where you are now. Don't forget the little people(Brody).

Famous or not I Love You through and through and hope you will always Choose the Right. Remember days like today and how you felt as you begin to face the challenges of growing up.

Lisa's Lime Liquid

After many requests I am posting the awesome punch recipe that is a must for parties.

1 large can of limeade concentrate

2 cups of sugar

6 cups of water

mix and put in gallon Ziploc bag and freeze the night before

To serve put frozen lime mixture in punch bowl and add 2-2 liters bottles of 7-up.

Each morning Brody grabs his bathing suit to get dressed. A little tantrum incurs if we put on daily clothes. Sunday is the worst...How do you explain to an 18 month old that we do not swim on Sunday due to sabbath day worship. My solution is to hide all his bathing suits.

summer memories

Summer vacations are filled with many fun memories...swimming, fireworks, sunburns, watermelon etc... Tonight my girls get to have the memory of going to sleep with it still light outside. "Mom we can't go to bed it is light outside?"...Oh, Yes you can!!!! I think I get the mean mom award tonight! They get to listen to all the neighborhood kids play outside their window. Sweet Dreams!!!
