As I lay here feeling like the hunch back of Notre Dame. Watching the world go by from my windows. My family does not want to hear me yell at them and give them things to do anymore. They close my door and put my meals under the door so they can go play without me. Scott thinks it is funny to treat me like a blind girl to teach me to fend for myself...push my crutches away from me...tells me someone won't always be there for me...etc....I am laughing at the same time I want to hit him. I wish he would read the http://nieniedialogues.blogspot.com/ and see how loving her husband is. I guess our love is different. I decided in my self-pity moments to think of things that could be worse...1. Tearing 2 Achilles tendons
2. Having a new born baby with a torn Achilles tendon
3. Never being able to walk again
4. Having trained 4 years for the Olympics and weeks before tear my Achilles...therefore missing the Olympics. That happened to this years gold metal winner in figure skating. This story gave me hope as I saw him doing triple toe loops across the ice again. I can't do a triple toe loop but maybe with rehab and my new nba tendon....a girl can dream.
