Chewy

A 3 year old boy comes downstairs completely naked with a belt over his shoulder. I knew he was trying to be someone, but I could not guess. Brody...who wears no clothes and a strap over his shoulder? Any guesses?

Chewbacca!! Once again you are completely right, but until you grow fur all over your body...put some shorts on.

Crazy Easter Road Trip

This Easter we decided to get crazy and drive to Arizona for the Easter pageant.

Swimming in shower caps...crazy Carly!

Waiting two hours for an hour pageant....crazy dumb

Nothing crazy about the stage...but look closely at the sign. No seat saving...crazy. We are Mormon that is what we do, save whole rows.

Where does the Easter bunny hide the baskets for my kids to hunt for them? Crazy high!!

Sugar at 8am...crazy and hyper kids.

Crazy in love even after 4 kids...or maybe just wanted to gross out the kids at the Arizona temple.

The best part of the weekend is the crazy Easter story Brody came away with after our effort to really focus on Easter.

Batman smashed the rock(boulder) in front of the cave(tomb) where Jesus died. Then Batman took out Jesus and saved him.

Thanks to Batman for a Happy Easter!!

Never Enough Soccer

Just my annual soccer photos

Scott is assistant coaching this year and even refs when the real ref is a no show.

This is the real coach...his BFF
Sydney's BFF

This is Carly's soccer team and as a side note they are in the movie Lincoln Lawyer. They play soccer against Matthew McConaughey's daughter. There jerseys are navy and say Empire soccer on them. They got the part not because of their soccer skills but they liked the teams jerseys. I think it is rated R so fast forward to the soccer part:)

My Clown Shoes

So I have been going through lots of stuff to get rid of for the garage sale. It is not hard for me to get rid of stuff. I can't figure out why I can't get rid of these shoes. I have had them 10 years and have never worn them.

A long time ago Scott gave me these for a gift. He went online at Nike and designed these shoes. They were really expensive and if you look close at the tongue of the shoe he had them monogrammed...Bear and Honey...our nicknames. It was so thoughtful and he knows I love running shoes. They are just so ugly I could never bring myself to wear them in public. I began calling them my clown shoes because I thought the colors just were ugly together. This may make me sound heartless because it really was a thoughtful gift. He keeps asking me why have I not thrown them out in 10 years. As I was cleaning out my shoes for this garage sale...I had to ask myself why can't I get rid of these. Maybe I am not that heartless because every time I see these shoes I smile and I think of his thoughtful gestures. He has given me great gifts and surprises, but yet I hold onto these shoes. Is it weird that I feel loved each time I look at these shoes.

If I ever had to dress up for a clown I know the first item of clothes for my costume...is that heartless?
