Final Dominica post

I promise this is my last post about Dominica...No sandy beaches...but still relaxing.

... after all how much sand is on a volcanic island. Here is our favorite divng spot of the trip. Those are volcanic bubbles coming up from the rocks...roasty...toasty.

This is my whole family that came on the trip. ...Minus one...we missed you K:( I will introduce you to everyone.

This is me...I am the oldest. The whole trip I was pretending I was on the amazing race doing road blocks. This is my amazing race partner...Scott.

Next in line is My brother Robert and his wife Janelle. On the trip he was super friendly and I think everyone on the island knew him by the time we left. Dominica is probably the friendliest place I have ever been. Everytime you drive by someone or see someone you honk and wave...they even did it to tourists. At first I thought it was fun...then by the end of the week it became annoying and I needed rude Americans.

Third in line is my brother Curt and his wife Sarah. He got the room where he had to hike 138 stairs every night and he has a heart condition. Never complains about anything.

4th is my sister Lisa and her husband Scott. They knew every plant on the island by the end of the trip. Not interesting to me...but if I was ever stranded on a island I would want to be with her and her husband to survive off the land. They even knew what leaf was the softest for toilet paper.

This is Brent and he is the daring and adventureous one. Anything that we wish we could do without breaking something...we tell Brent and he will do it...with a flip.

The baby is Micheal and his wife Yvonne. By the end of the week they could not stand the local food anymore and had to feed an addiction. We went on vacation in another country a couple of years ago and he got really sick. He said he just needed fastfood from America and he would be ok. He said he was going through withdrawls. We got him some and he immediatly got better...addict:) I knew after this trip his wife was perfect for him because she was the one who had to have the pizza and said she was sorry for laughing at him when we would make fun of his sick story. Cute love story...maybe it could become a book?

My newest member of the family...I don't know what to call him, but I feel close to him. There are lizards like this everywhere. Each night it would find its way into my shower and stare...Never move just stare. Then he started inviting friends. Miss him.

That is everyone...
This was everyone 20 years ago...Time flies. I love vacation memories.

Play Ball

I feel like a whole new world has opened up...the new world of T-ball. Scott tells me to grow up, but I was most excited to go buy him his "cup". It seems most of the boys on his team are excited about that too...because you see a lot of knocking on the "cup". As I watch the major league games the grown men do a lot of adjusting...so I think these boys are catching on to playing baseball.

Fielding....

Throwing...

Swinging...

Striking out...

But my favorite lesson they are learning from playing baseball...baseball is boring. Sooo, to entertain themselves Brody and his best friend(Mason) decided to use their bats as canes.

See...two old men walking around the baseball field talking about the good old days.
